As one of the leading direct sales enterprises in Europe, LR Health & Beauty is on a mission to bring high-quality “Made in Germany” health and beauty products to the mass market.
With over 3000 community members, LR Health & Beauty runs annual events where they hold corporate panel talks and presentations and honor the community members. Over 3000 people usually attend these events, and as many of the sales partners are hearing impaired, LR Health & Beauty events are accompanied by sign language interpreters.
Along with the rest of the world, the COVID-19 pandemic meant that LR Health & Beauty Systems’ in-person events had to turn virtual. Instead of incorporating a sign language interpreter, they switched to captions to make digital content accessible to everyone.
However, manually creating captions is often easier said than done. LR Health & Beauty aimed to have the captioned content live within two days of the event. However, it took a team of 5 people almost two weeks to complete the captions!
After this experience, the team realized that they had to outsource their captioning and look for an external provider that could help. Amberscript was top of the list.
With Amberscript’s Manual Subtitling service, the LR Health & Beauty team can upload content into our secure platform. From there our team of professional German captioners gets to work captioning the audio.
