How Norwegian Human-made subtitles enhance your video content

Video content is the new way to reach your users – and to do so effectively, you need to speak to them on their terms, in a language they understand.

This is a big reason why subtitling online videos has become so popular – yet it is always done with the kind of tact and elegance that end users who may be deaf or hard of hearing, or for those listening in sound sensitive environments.

As a language, Norwegian is an excellent example. While it shares many common roots with other Scandinavian and Nordic languages, it’s very much its own language altogether – complete with idioms and turns of phrase unique to Norway.

That means entrusting AI and computer systems to simply – and often too literally – subtitle your video content may actually be doing more harm than good. Why should your Norwegian audience trust your brand if you’re not willing to speak to them with fluency and warmth?

Marketing and promotion nowadays is ever more a question of trust and authenticity. The same applies to even the seemingly simple task of ensuring that your video content has high-quality captions.

Why should you use Amberscript’s Norwegian subtitling services?

Entrusting this process to an experienced and fluent Norwegian speaker locks in the accuracy and message of your content – and gets subtitles turned around quickly too.

Yet you also benefit from the added authenticity and accuracy of someone who understands how Norwegian people speak to one another, and how to ensure that turns of phrase are completely accurate to the audio.

Naturally, all this works fantastically for SEO and discoverability too – and you’ll find conversions are likely to increase, simply because your videos establish a far more trustworthy rapport with your audience.
