Business Development Manager DACH (native-level German required)

FULL-TIME POSITION IN AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

Are you eager to take ownership of the full sales cycle from following-up inbound leads, generating outbound opportunities, qualifying leads and closing deals with clients in a number of proven industries?

The DACH market is one of the largest and fastest growing markets for Amberscript. We have a number of well-known customers and references in a variety of industries and there is significant traction in the DACH market.

You will be the first hire fully dedicated to bring this promising market to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for further expanding our B2B business in the proven DACH market. In close collaboration with the founders, you will develop opportunities in clearly defined verticals, you will set up new partnerships and you will close deals in a steadily growing market.

  • Governments, parliaments, and city councils 
  • Universities
  • Broadcasting- and media companies 
  • Any company that produces audio or video content

This role is perfect if you want to complete your final internship at a fast-growing company with the option to join our team as a sales-consultant afterward or if you just graduated and want to give your sales career a kick-start!

Our AI speech to text engine obtains the best results in the market, as proven by independent tests in the media. Our product is being used by more than 500.000 users worldwide. The DACH market is one of our most mature markets, our product is well-known and our enterprise solutions are used by a number of high profile clients in education, government, media, broadcasting, video-production and research.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be the face and driver of growth of AmberScript for the DACH market. The market is wide open, there is a clear demand for high-quality speech recognition and captions which is driven by a national legislation.

  • Generating and closing outbound deals (40% of your time)
  • Determining our go-to-market strategy (20% of your time)
  • Qualifying and closing inbound leads (20% of your time)
  • Closing and maintaining partnerships (20% of your time)

Your Profile:
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or consulting environment
  • Proven track-record of selling enterprise solutions to large organizations and universities
  • ‘Consultative selling’ is something that comes natural to you
  • Highly results driven, clear ‘can-do’ mentality
  • Self-organized. Together with our commercial co-founder, you’ll be in charge of developing the go-to market strategy and executing on it.
  • Flexibility to work in a startup environment with team-members from all over the world
  • A strong passion for disruptive technology.
  • Native language skills in German
